June First Friday: Live Music & Benefit Gallery Show

Live music by Emmy Law from Atlanta, GA

Emmy Law is a folk pop singer/songwriter based out of Atlanta, Georgia. She released her debut EP ‘Fairyland’ in August 2018 after running a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the album. Citing influences from Sara Bareilles to Copeland, Emmy plays her blend of folk and pop across the Southeast.

In describing her single ‘Fairyland,’ NeuFutur Magazine states, “Law’s vocals pull double duty in that their breathiness weaves a rich narrative while the overall harmonies laid down work perfectly with the larger instrumental complex.” The music video for the single has appeared on various media outlets, including LATV, Music City Arts Nashville, Indie Wave, and IndiMusic TV. Emmy is currently performing and in the studio working on future releases.

Power and Patience
Proceeds benefitting Keith Kozel

Opening Reception June 7, 6-9pm
On View May 27th-July 28th

A talented group of artists have come together and generously donated works of art to benefit long time Savannahian rocker and artist Keith Kozel. The show celebrates the unyielding spirit of Savannah’s creative scene and power in the face of adversity.

Keith’s daughter, Zelia Kozel, is simultaneously debuting her first painting collection, Rainbow Gardens down the street at Henny Penny Cafe, 1514 Bull St. She painted most the works with her mom while her dad was away receiving treatment. Her work captures a joy and exuberance that runs deep even in hard times.
